Telco Asset Management was established in New Zealand in 1998 to provide professional advisory services and management of then Telecom’s national real estate assets throughout New Zealand.

Our client base grew quickly to include other owners and users of infrastructure assets and people environments.

After more than 20 years of successful operations, the Telco group of companies has now expanded and evolved to now comprise of 6 businesses which provide independent professional advisory services to corporate, local government and central government owners and users of real estate and technology assets.

The Telco group of companies remains a privately owned New Zealand business.

Bruce Davidson

Chairman & Independent Director

Bruce is chair of the Board of Telco Corporation and all Telco companies except TTS. Bruce is a former senior partner and Managing Partner of Phillips Fox (now DLA Piper), an Australasian law firm, and is currently a full time professional director and chairperson for a number of private companies. Bruce is a fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Directors and former chair of it’s Auckland branch.

Keith Mitchell

Managing Director

Keith is Managing Director of all of the Telco group of companies working from Telco’s office in Auckland. Keith graduated in law from Auckland University and was employed at the law firm Chapman Tripp’s Auckland office. Keith is one of Telco’s founding shareholders following Telco’s acquisition of Telecom’s property services business in April 1999.

Richard Hansen

Executive Director

Richard heads Telco’s fitout projects and design team. He is a professional Project Manager and has extensive experience in realisation of all facets of building construction, property facilities and infrastructure projects.

 

Over the past decade Richard has been an industry leader in developing and implementing human experience-led environments for workplace, entertainment and infrastructure asset users.

 

Richard is also one of Telco’s founding shareholders .

Theresa Gattung

Chair – Telco Technology Services and Consultant to the Telco Board

Theresa is a New Zealander passionate about business, the advancing of women’s welfare and animal welfare. Theresa is a former Managing Director and Chief Executive of Telecom, a co-founder of My Food Bag, a co-founder of The World Women Charitable Trust, a co-founder of the Puriri Education Charitable Trust, the chair and part shareholder of Telco Technology Services, as well as many other business and charitable endeavors.

Mee Yen Sim

Group Financial Controller

Mee Yen is the Group Financial Controller of the Telco group of companies, working from Telco’s office in Wellington since 2012. Mee Yen graduated with Bachelor of Commerce & Administration degree from Victoria University of Wellington and is a member of Chartered Accountant Australia & New Zealand.

 

Mee Yen has extensive finance and management experience across a number of industries including Telecommunications, Professional Consultancy, Retail, Logistics  and Government sectors.

Our vision is to support an embedded culture of sustainability in all of our client organisations. Our own carbon target is consistent with the Paris Agreement, keeping the global warming increase below 1.5°C. Emissions from our business we cannot avoid are offset using NZ carbon offsets.
